It's getting harder to distinguish between the swan parents and their children, as the babies get steadily whiter, Is it always the mother who's with them? The other parent is usually a long way away. |  |

Bright and dry, and the sailors are out. Don't often see a boat with four people on. |

Today,there are sputters of rain, and the lake is ruffled. No Canada Geese today, but two large rafts of white gulls. The swan family are still together, the cygnets getting whiter by the day. A few sailing boats out in the morning, sticking close to the sailing club, rescue boats in close attendance. Beginners? |
